Our Values in Action

Net Zero Carbon Emissions Commitment

At The Kind Brave Leader, we are committed to playing our part in tackling the climate crisis by reducing our environmental impact and working towards achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.

We acknowledge the role that small businesses and independent suppliers play in creating a more sustainable future, and we are taking steps to operate in a low-carbon, responsible way. Our actions include:

Delivering services remotely by default to minimise travel-related emissions.

Using digital-first resources to avoid unnecessary printing and shipping.

Working from a low-energy home office using energy-efficient equipment.

Partnering with suppliers and venues that demonstrate strong environmental values.

Regularly reviewing our practices and seeking ways to further reduce emissions.

We are committed to transparency and continuous improvement.

Equal Opportunities Commitment

At The Kind Brave Leader, we are committed to providing equal opportunities for all. We actively promote fairness, respect, and inclusion in everything we do from recruitment and partnerships to the delivery of services.

We do not tolerate discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, gender, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

Everyone we work with is treated with dignity and respect. We welcome and value diversity and are committed to creating inclusive spaces for our clients, collaborators, and community.

Anti-Discrimination Policy

We are committed to preventing all forms of discrimination and harassment. We work to create an environment that is safe, supportive, and inclusive for everyone — whether you’re a client, colleague, partner or participant.

We take any concerns seriously and are proactive in addressing behaviour that goes against our values of kindness, equity, and mutual respect. We embed inclusive language and practices in our work and regularly review our materials, partnerships and policies to reflect this commitment.

Modern Slavery and Ethical Working Practices

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. While our supply chain is small, we carefully choose who we work with based on shared values and ethical standards. We expect anyone providing goods or services to us to uphold human rights and fair working conditions.

We will not knowingly work with organisations that fail to meet these standards and we remain vigilant, even in low-risk environments.

Social Value Commitment

Our work is rooted in social impact. We strive to create value not just through our services, but through how we work. We:

Prioritise local, ethical and values-led suppliers

Offer subsidised and free access to support those underrepresented or underserved

Collaborate with mission-aligned individuals and organisations

Contribute to professional development and wellbeing in our sectors through mentoring, free resources, and community support

We aim to make a positive difference to individuals, communities and the wider world of work — and we hold ourselves accountable to those aims.
