Groups & Teams Support

Teams hold unique potential, but they also carry complexity.
We support organisations with group and team coaching and training, that deepens connection, strengthens collaboration, increases psychological safety and helps teams navigate pressure, change and performance more effectively.

Whether you’re working with a formal team, a cross-functional group, a leadership cohort or a community of peers, this work is designed to make the team better at being a team while also growing individual capability.

What this work is

Different approaches work for different needs. Group and team support often blends coaching and training, depending on what will be most helpful for your people and context.

Group Coaching

Group coaching brings together people working on shared themes or challenges. It’s not simply training or facilitation — it’s a reflective, interactive process where individuals learn with and from each other under skilled coaching guidance.

Group coaching works well when people are:

  • navigating similar pressures or roles

  • developing shared confidence or capability

  • learning to think differently about how they work and lead

Team Coaching

Team coaching focuses on an intact team, people who work together regularly toward shared goals. The emphasis is on how the team functions as a system: communication, trust, decision-making and collective responsibility.

Rather than focusing only on individual performance, team coaching supports teams to:

  • strengthen collaboration

  • surface unspoken dynamics

  • align around shared purpose and ways of working

Training (for shared understanding and alignment)

Alongside coaching, I also deliver training-led sessions where teams or groups need shared language, clarity or grounding.

This is particularly useful for:

  • developing shared leadership or management values

  • aligning expectations around ways of working

  • introducing frameworks that support wellbeing, inclusion or accountability

  • creating common understanding before or alongside deeper coaching work

Often, training and coaching are combined, for example, a values-based leadership session followed by group coaching to embed learning into everyday practice.

How this works in practice

Some teams benefit most from:

  • training first, to build shared understanding

  • coaching alongside training, to deepen reflection and application

  • coaching alone, where alignment already exists

We’ll always choose the approach that best supports your people, not a one-size-fits-all model.

Why this works well for you as an organisation

This blended approach:

  • reduces confusion between training and coaching

  • supports clarity and meaningful behaviour change

  • helps teams move from knowing, to doing, to sustaining change over time
